Massages
Myofascial Release:
This is a manual therapy technique often used in massage. The technique focuses on pain believed to arise from myofascial tissues — the tough membranes that wrap, connect and support your muscles..
Deep Tissue Massage:
This is a Swedish massage with deeper strokes or harder pressure. The massage uses firm pressure and slow stroked to massage deep layers of muscle and fascia, which is the connective tissue that surrounds your muscles.
Swedish Massage:
This is a manual therapy that emphasizes long strokes, kneading and friction motions to encourage proper circulation. The technique involves rubbing muscles together in the same direction as the flow of blood to the heart.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage:
This relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. The massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels.
Medical Massage:
This therapeutic type of massage, which requires a firm background in pathology, involves more focused work on your body's soft tissue — the muscles, tendons and ligaments that move and support your body.
Oncology Massage:
This uses light touch and slow, steady movements, working with the central nervous system to help the body relax. This massage is specifically tailored to those individuals who have cancer. Therapists must be fully educated in physical, emotional and psychological needs of clients.
Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage
This specifically reduces pregnancy discomforts and concerns, as well as enhances the physiological and emotional well-being of both mother and baby. Some benefits include relieving anxiety, improving circulation, reducing stress and easing joint and muscle tension.
Reflexology
This is type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet, hands, and ears to help you feel better. The theory is that this eases stress, and that helps your body work better. It’s also known as zone therapy.
Reiki Healing - Usui System
This is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing.
Aromatherapy
This is a light, calming massage using a blend of essential oils over the whole body. The blend of incredible oils and the luxurious massage will send you into complete relaxation, and you'll leave feeling renewed.
